EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. It is a form of synthetic rubber which holds up well to heat making it a great choice for hot weather conditions. The chance of rubber tarp straps melting in the hot sun is greatly reduced when using an EPDM material over traditional rubber materials.
