Axle straps, ratchet straps, as well as many other tie down products are great when moving cars or trucks but can also go great in addition to load binders with chains or recovery straps. Recovery straps also known as tow straps are used to pull cars featuring nylon webbing that stretches and prevents damage to your vehicles as well as tie downs.
Did you know that by using axle straps compared to the old school method of using chain binders you can avoid any scratches that may be caused to your rims or potentially paint? Axle straps make for a great alternative for chain binders in the car hauling industry.
What are Tie Down Straps?
Tie Down Straps can also be called lashing straps, ratchet straps, or tie downs. They can be used in a number of different applications, but they are mainly used for securing cargo on flatbed trailers, moving trucks, pickup trucks, and other types of trailers.
There are two main types of Tie Down Straps, one piece, and two-piece. One piece straps are also called Endless Loop Straps and function just like a belt does by going around the object and coming back to itself to tighten. A two-piece strap attaches each end to something else before tightening.
