Our 4-inch x 30-foot Ratchet Strap with Flat Hooks is designed for heavy-hauling cargo control applications on flatbed trailers. This strap is made in the length of 30 feet and is available in several different webbing color options. This Ratchet Strap is made from heavy-duty 4-inch wide polyester tie-down webbing with a minimum breaking strength of 24,000 lbs.

Polyester webbing is the go-to choice for flatbed truckers due to its heavy-duty strength, durability, and minimal stretching compared to alternative webbing blends such as nylon used in towing applications. Polyester webbing is designed to help prevent moisture damage from mold, mildew, and direct sunlight which can cause damage to webbing over time.

Remember to inspect your tie-down straps before and after every use to ensure they are free of damage and do not have any signs of damage from general wear and tear such as fraying, discoloration, burn marks, tears, or other visible damage. You should also always use 2 ratchet straps for smaller-sized cargo and 4 ratchet straps for most heavy hauling applications to protect your load from a sudden lane change, hard brake, or rapid acceleration.

The Flat Hooks hardware provides a wider surface area to ensure that once your strap is attached to the rub rails of the flatbed trailer it remains secure until you reach your final destination safely. The Flat Hooks feature a 16,200 lbs breaking strength and the ratchet hardware is 24,000 lbs breaking strength. Once assembled this combination creates a heavy-duty strap with a safe working load limit rating of 5,400 lbs.

This strap comes with a sewn-on working load limit rating tag so that you know exactly what your ratchet strap is safely rated for and comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) industry guidelines for cargo control.
