Flatbed Winch Straps

Flatbed Winch Straps are winch straps that are made specifically for flatbed trailers for heavy-duty cargo securement. Flatbed winch straps come in a variety of different securement options such as flat hooks, chain & hook, delta rings, or wire hooks. By far the most popular winch strap is our 4 inches wide by 27 feet long size of webbing. Polyester Tie Down Webbing is used for Ratchet Tie Down Straps and for Flatbed Winch Straps due to the very little chance of stretching from occurring. When tie-down straps stretch the cargo may come loose causing an unsecured load to come off or become damaged during transit.

The most important thing you can do before finding the perfect winch strap for your application is knowing what the Working Load Limit (WLL) you need for your load. In other words, the weight of the cargo that is needed in order to be safely secured. You can find the working load limit of your strap by taking the breaking strength of the tie-down strap and dividing by three. Example of a working load limit would be 10,000 lb breaking strength, would be 3,333 lb working load limit; or in other words the weight that it can safely secure during a sharp turn or hard braking.
